UPC Court Fees Consultation launches 8 May 2015
The UPC Preparatory Committee met this week on 5 May (Turbo Tuesday) and the big piece of news from the meeting is that the consultation document in respect of for the court fees and recoverable costs for the Unified Patent Court is ready to launch. The written consultation will run from tomorrow 8 May 2015 for 12 weeks. This means that from tomorrow we should hopefully have some idea what the fee amounts in Rule 370 of the Rules of Procedure (see page 149-150) will look like. (more…)

Unitary patent – Preparatory Committee Updates
The Preparatory Committee for the Unified Patent Court has updated their website to indicate that a number of experts have been invited to join an Expert Panel to provide informal advice to the various work streams that exist in the UPC roadmap. The UPC website has also been updated with a new roadmap.
Unitary patent and Unified patent court – Conference Review (Part II)
As noted yesterday, I attended the 2nd annual conference on the “Unitary patent and Unified patent court” held in Paris on 4 July.
