25 years ago, on 12th December 1988, David Keltie Associates started its life with David Keltie and Rosemary Cardas. Last weekend, to mark our 25th birthday, virtually the entire firm decamped to the banks of Loch Lomond in Scotland for a couple of days of celebration, reflections on the journey the firm has made so far and predictions for the journey still to come.
In 2007 the firm re-branded as Keltie and on that occasion David noted that whereas “we called ourselves a one cab firm” on the firm’s 5th anniversary, by the time we went on our annual retreat in Paris in 2004 we had become a “one carriage firm”. We’ve grown further since, to the point that on Friday and Sunday when we were flying to/from Scotland, it became clear we are now a “one plane firm!”
We would like to thank everyone that sent us their best wishes for our 25th Birthday and we look forward to working with you all into the future.
Our venue for the weekend’s celebration was Cameron House just outside Glasgow and a group photo from the event is included here. Sean Cummings provided us with an entertaining look back over the last 25 years and also did some crystal ball gazing to see where the next 25 years might take us. All very exciting but I think everyone at the firm will want to record the fact that he predicts the firm’s 50th birthday party will be in the Bahamas! There, Sean, it’s in writing now so you can’t back out!
Congratulations to you all! Wonderful photos. I’m only sorry I wasn’t there to join in with singing a Scottish tune or two.
