Just keep running…

Keltie runners are taking to the streets of London to take part in Run the River on 15th September 2015 to raise money for Teach First – a charity whose mission is to end inequality in education.

The team are limbering up to run 10k around some of London’s most iconic landmarks. Our team of 11 consists of Adam, Alistair, Archana, Chris, David, Dev, Ellie, Emily, Katy, Madi and Richard.

If you would like to donate, please visit their team page and donate using the ‘Give now’ button.

tough mudderTough Mudder London South – 27th September 2015

On 27th September 2015, a team of seven from Keltie will be taking part in Tough Mudder London South – a 12 mile, mud-filled, military-style obstacle course. A course that involves crawling under barbed wire through pits of mud, plunging into troughs filled with ice, jumping over fire pits and running through live wires carrying 10,000 V, for some aptly-named ‘Electroshock Therapy’. Our spirited seven (/senseless seven – delete as you see fit) are Colin Paterson, Alistair Gay, Camille Terfve, Richard Lawrence, Chris Cattley, Azhar Sadique and Clare Totman.

With the website advertising the fact that two million people have now crossed a Tough Mudder finishing line, with four thousand people opting to adorn themselves with the Tough Mudder tattoo, the team have decided it’s time to see what all the fuss is about. And, more importantly, to take the opportunity to raise money for three very worthy causes.

The Keltie Tough Mudders are raising money for: The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which works to provide the best in diagnosis, treatment and care for patients with cancer; Cardiomyopathy UK, which aims to help people with cardiomyopathy to manage the condition and to lead a long and full life; and finally, Alzheimer’s Research UK – a charity supporting pioneering science to discover more about the causes of the condition, and to translate findings into new treatments.

If you would like to donate, please do so via the team fundraising page here. Any donations will be very much appreciated, and will be split evenly between the three charities chosen. (The team have promised not to spend any of the money raised on Tough Mudder tattoos.)
